HEMOCOR® is a professional grade, super-concentrated blood building supplement for horses. It contains a balanced ratio of specially manufactured chelated organic iron, copper and zinc, human food grade vitamins, yucca and amino acids. It’s high in lysine, an essential amino acid (the only amino acid for which the NRC has established a requirement) that must come from the diet, since the horse cannot create enough on its own. When lysine amounts are inadequate, it limits the body’s ability to make protein. HEMOCOR® is the only equine blood builder to contain Epoch Plant-Derived Trace Minerals, a proprietary brand of small molecule, plant- based trace minerals. Epoch is a complete ultra-mineral powder that is cold-water extracted from pre-historic plant deposits and thus packed with the full spectrum of over 60 healthy, naturally-chelated elements and minerals, including a full range of lesser-known minerals.
Due to the unique manufacturing process, our chelated organic iron, copper and zinc remain chelated, even in solution. They have over 100 times the bonding strength and over 10 times more chelated mineral in solution than other leading organic products.
